(Lakeland, FL, January 25, 2012) - The Randy Roberts Foundation(RRF)will travel to Tallahassee with Congressional Classroom students as part of a new RRF program called “Capital Classroom,” where students will get a behind-the-scenes look at the Florida state government.

The 15 students, all participants in last September’s Congressional Classroom program, will visit with Florida lawmakers including the Commissioner of Agriculture, Adam Putnam, and House of Representative members Seth McKeel, Alan Williams and Will Weatherford. The students will also meet members of the Florida Chamber and the Florida Retail Federation, an organization where Randy Roberts was especially active.

“We wanted to expand on the Congressional Classroom program to include government at the state level, and we’re thrilled that our Congressional Classroom students are interested in learning more about their state government,” said Sara Roberts, CEO of the Randy Roberts Foundation.
